Assist in the production of high-quality investment research and insights on identified private market Investment opportunitiesCommunicate investment recommendations and ongoing reporting to Private Wealth clients and/or personnel through the production of written reports and presentationsAssist in the delivery and uplift of research framework, including supporting the implementation and assisting in the production of client and adviser collateralContribute to the execution of the Chief Investment Office’s Investment Funds Research – Private Markets strategy, by supporting the Head of Investment Funds Research (Private) with the continued build out and maintenance of private investment opportunities. The Chief Investment Officer function delivers research and insights across a broader range of Private Wealth clients (including JBWere) and is an integral part of our client value proposition.Our people are customer obsessed. Our mindset fosters innovation and creates strong, lasting customer relationships as we strive to be the most customer centric company in Australia and New Zealand.In the role of Analyst, Investment Funds Research, you will join Andrew Penman and the Investment Funds Research Private team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:Assist in the investment/manager selection process by monitoring and identifying investment opportunities across private markets and maintain list of identified opportunitiesHelp in the production of high quality investment research and insight on identified opportunities, and produce ongoing reporting of funds on JBWere’s Approved Product List for JBWere advisers and clientsSupport the uplift of Private Wealth CIO Office’s Investment Funds Research – Private offering across the Private Wealth business unit.We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for preparing reports, presentations, and interacting with various stakeholdersStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsDetail orientated with a self-starter mentalityPast experience in finance related role, ideally in private market investments and multi-asset manager selectionA bachelor's degree or equivalentCFA, CAIA, CA and RG-146 qualifications are an advantageA diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone We know that our people make us who we are.
