Job Description
DescriptionSupport and train Retailers with all technical and application solutions within the Retail Technology suite of services including back-office HQ and store applications, point-of-sale, sign/tag software, networking, etc.Provide hardware service and support to resolve issues with Retailer equipment including servers, computers, network, and point-of-sale.Conduct remote and on-site field support in Retail supermarkets for Retailers, including after-hours on-call rotations.Complete intermediate-level application training for Retailers on the Retail Technology suite of services.Travel Required:YesSkillsSpecialized Knowledge : Knowledge of supermarket operations including point-of-sale and back-office applications, Networking, Point of Sale and Backoffice Pricing systems.Special Skills : Ability to build positive customer relations; good verbal and writing communication skills; complex problem-solving skills; strong team player.Physical abilities: : Ability to lift 50 pounds and sit and stand for long periods of time.Other: : Ability to travel frequently including overnight travelYears Of Experience2-5 : Years of related work experience with in-store applications, training, troubleshooting, customer service & conflict resolution.2-5 : Years of experience in retail stores and/or in technology roles.
