Laboratory Specialist – Bioanalytical Chemistry / R&D📍 Karabuk University Technopark, Türkiye 🏢 BIO DESIGN Consultancy | Biotechnology & Analytical Services 🕒 Full-Time | On-Site🔬 About the RoleBIO DESIGN is a multidisciplinary technology and R&D company operating in biotechnology, analytical chemistry, software development, and sustainability projects. We actively conduct TÜBİTAK TEYDEB (1501, 1507, 1005, etc.), KOSGEB, and regional development projects, and we develop analytical test kits, laboratory workflows, and sustainability measurement tools.We are seeking a Laboratory Specialist with strong skills in bioanalytical chemistry to support our R&D activities—including method development, analytical measurements, sample preparation, and technical reporting.🧪 Key ResponsibilitiesPerform laboratory experiments related to bioanalytical chemistry, method development, and validationConduct sample preparation workflows (protein/peptide prep, SPE, magnetic bead purification, derivatization)Operate analytical instruments (HPLC/UHPLC, LC-MS/MS, MALDI-TOF/MS, UV-Vis, fluorometer)Maintain GLP-compliant lab documentation, calibration records, and experiment logsSupport TEYDEB and other national R&D projects with technical data and reportingParticipate in prototype testing for analytical kit developmentAssist with sustainability-related laboratory measurements when needed🎓 Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Molecular Biology & Genetics, Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related fieldsMaster’s degree in a relevant field OR prior R&D laboratory experience (required)Experience with analytical chemistry or bioanalytical measurement techniquesAbility to work in a structured laboratory environment with attention to detail🔧 Preferred Technical SkillsHands-on experience with HPLC / UHPLC, gradient optimization, detector use (FLD/UV)Familiarity with LC-MS/MS systems (Orbitrap, Q-Exactive, Tims-TOF)Basic knowledge of MALDI-TOF/MSSample preparation techniques:SPE, magnetic beads, solid-phase cleanupLabeling chemistriesProficiency in:Xcalibur / MassLynx / Bruker DataAnalysisExcel, OriginPro, JASP, MATLAB (basic)Understanding of GLP, instrument calibration, and traceability🧠 Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetHigh attention to detail and laboratory disciplineWillingness to learn, adapt, and engage in multidisciplinary R&DAbility to work both independently and within a team📍 WorkplaceKarabuk University Technopark – Karabuk, Türkiye📩 How to ApplyPlease send your CV to: info@bio-design.com.tr
