Do you want to embark with us on our mission to become the leading platform within hospitality?The Superb OpportunityWe are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our small but powerful engineering team and take a key role in shaping how data becomes insight — not just internally, but for restaurateurs who rely on Superb to run and grow their business.This role sits at the intersection of product thinking and engineering discipline. You will design and maintain the data models, pipelines, and analytics foundations that power our product, guide decision-making, and unlock new opportunities across Superb. You’ll turn raw, real-world data into clean, trusted, well-structured layers that scale — enabling seamless analysis, meaningful dashboards, and intuitive data experiences for both our team and our customers. If the idea of building reliable, thoughtful data foundations that empower thousands of hospitality businesses excites you, this is your seat at the table.What You'll DoBuild and maintain clean, reliable, and scalable analytics models that power internal dashboards and product featuresDesign and evolve our data pipelines, transformations, and modelling standards (e.g., dbt, SQL, warehouse architecture), ensuring they scale with our platform and customer baseWork across our modern data stack, including Airflow, AWS Glue Lake Formation, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift, MongoDB and MySQLCreate and manage well-structured data models that transform raw data into high-quality, trustworthy assets with clear documentation, and observability baked in.Develop production-ready pipelines and backend data services using Python and SQL ensuring our data flows are efficient, maintainable, and a joy to work with.Lead and contribute to a modern data stack, refining tooling, workflows, and best practices to support fast, high-quality analytics work.Turn raw data into actionable insights, and step into exploratory analyses when needed to unblock product direction or identify new opportunitiesWhat You’ll NeedSolid experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics-engineering, or a similarly technical role.Strong SQL skills and experience designing maintainable, performant data modelsProficiency in Python for building pipelines, transformations, and statistical analysesExperience working with orchestration and cloud data tooling such as AirflowAWS, Glue Lake Formation, AWS Athena, AWS Redshift and familiarity with operational databases like MongoDB and MySQLAbility to write clean, testable, maintainable code and drive engineering best practices within the analytics domainA knack for data wrangling—cleaning, structuring, and validating complex datasets across multiple sourceCuriosity and independence in breaking down ambiguous problems using analytical reasoning and critical thinkingAbility to design and build data processing, storage, and activation systems end-to-endYou'll Stand Out If YouHave a strong understanding of descriptive analytics, basic statistics, and data visualization principlesAwareness of machine learning concepts and predictive modelling techniques (hands-on experience is a plus, not a requirement)Have Tech Lead experience (or similar)Are passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and continuously improving mobile application architectureWorking at SuperbLearning and sharing environmentDiverse and international team with a strong missionWork from our cozy hub in Copenhagen or from home if you are remote (for simplicity we prefer if you live in Europe or +/- 2 hours)Freedom, flexibility and ability to make real impact
