[What the role is][What the role is]This role will support STB's data analytics initiatives. You will work with the current team of analysts on processing large datasets and developing sophisticated statistical methods, to achieve more robust insights.[What you will be working on][What you will be working on]Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop Statistical Models and Imputation MethodsConduct statistical analysis (such as multivariate modelling), to identify and establish visitor profile groups across multiple dimensions, and attribute the spending patterns accordinglyDesign and implement imputation models for missing values using advanced statistical techniquesValidate findings and model performance, by applying statistical tests such as Kruskal-Wallis Test and One-Way ANOVAData Preparation and IntegrationIntegrate and standardise multiple datasets, with large number of fields and recordsReconcile differences in field names, value encodings, and business logic across tablesEnsure data integrity and consistency by implementing quality assurance processesDocument data transformation procedures, and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries[What we are looking for][What we are looking for]Trained in a quantitative discipline: Business Analytics, Statistics, AppliedMathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related disciplineExperience with statistical analysis and model validationExperience working across large datasets, ensuring data quality and deriving meaningful insightsProficient in statistical programming tools (e.g., Python, R), and database scripting languages (e.g., SQL)Strong research, planning, organisational, and time management skills.Good presentation and communication skills
