Based in VIC or NSW with onsite parking and flexible working optionsJoin a company that supports professional development and encourages long-term career growth in tech and operationsPlay a key role in shaping technical solutions by translating business needs into actionable outcomes across teamsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst (BA) in Melbourne or Sydney to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.

If you're a proactive problem solver with a passion for driving results, we’d love to hear from you!What you’ll be doingRun collaborative workshops with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirementsTranslate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and data modelsLiaise between business units and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirementsParticipate in solution design discussions and provide input on technical feasibilityConduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis for system changes and issuesAssist in the development of test plans, test cases, and perform UAT supportDevelop automated end-to-end and regression test casesSupport Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-upsCoordinate with QA, developers, and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverablesPrepare master, transaction and configuration dataCreate and maintain system documentation and user manualsEngage in practical on-site problem solving.

Present findings and recommendations to working groupsWhat are we looking for?3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical environmentStrong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesExperience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and wireframing toolsAbility to read and write basic SQL queries for data analysis and validationStrong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentExperience with microservices, RESTful APIs, system integrations, across master and transaction dataDemonstrated experience with analytical data platforms. Experience in logistics industry is an advantage. Key Attributes:
