We have an exciting Apprentice Finance Assistant vacancy in our Central Management Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and to achieve an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 2 and Level 3 Qualification, with the option to study for AAT Level 4 subject to completion of Level’s 2 & 3. The job description attached will give you an overview of the tasks you will be trained to undertake by the end of the Apprenticeship.

You will receive a comprehensive induction, formal training and you will be provided with the support and guidance that you need to achieve success!You will need to be dedicated to completing the qualification and have an interest in the Health Service.

Main duties of the jobAs An Apprentice Finance Assistant You WillEarn a salary while studyingGain job specific skills, knowledge and behavioursHave regular pastoral support and personal development reviewsGain knowledge of finance processes in the Health BoardProvide finance support across varying teams and servicesReceive training and gain knowledge on NHS electronic systemsGain experience within the NHS and understand the structure and different services delivered to our local community. You will be helping to provide a first class service to members of the public, patients and colleagues across the Health Board.
