Job Description

Job Role & Responsibility Establish a Coaching agreement with all maintenance Instrument & Control team as per gap assessment and develop gap closure plan with proper deadlinesAdvice, Coordinate and Support in all aspects of normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards.

Participate in RCA meeting for reliability-related, and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operationDevelop maintenance resolutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operationsCollect and recommend all Instrument & Control maintenance repairs and maintenance records for improvementAdvice, Coordinate and Support for all By Pass Over ride or Isolation/Desolation of Instrument& ControlCoach National Instrument & Control maintenance Team in troubleshooting, Plant failure investigationsAdvice, Coordinate and Assist field National Instrument & Control maintenance Team on difficult repairs of critical equipment when needed.

Provide training up to Competent Person Instrument & Control and issuing authorisation certificates up to the level of Authorised Person Instrument.

Conduct oral and practical assessments for the Instrument authorisation of candidates and issuing Installation specific Authorisation CertificatesShare knowledge and familiarity with National Team to maintain the international standards in order to improve the equipment performanceAdvice, Coordinate and Support for Instrument & Control Equipment’s upgraded or replaced by Project or Engineering TeamReview existing Instrument & Control Asset register from SAP and update accurately after field verificationReview existing Instrument & Control Maintenance Plan from SAP and update accurately after field verificationReview existing Instrument & Control Current PM (Preventive Maintenance) Work Order’s frequency from SAP and advicePlan frequency as well as actual man hours requiredAdd, change and delete Instrument & Control assets after field verification, review all existing Bill of Material linked with Instrument & Control assets and update accuratelyReview the stock material related with Instrument & Control, revalidate the Min/Max and create new material as requiredAdvice, Coordinate, Support and ensure availability of Resources, Spare Parts, Consumables, Man Power, then Plan, Schedule and Execute Work based on the availability of ResourcesReport equipment and required documentation changes in line with MOC procedures; Raise MOC Requests, Review Management Organizational of Change MOC’s for new changes to guarantee, safety, integrity and effective operation and reliabilityIdentify Instrument & Control national individual performance and coach where ever required based on Competency assurance analysisDevelop Maintenance Quality Management processes, procedures and monitor implementation in all Instrument & Control maintenanceRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering in Instrument & Control or equivalent or previous experience in Angola LNG.

Minimum of 10+ Years’ experience working in the field of Instrument & Control Maintenance in an Oil & Gas Facility (LNG experience preferred). 5+ Years’ experience working in an Instrument & Control as Senior Technican within the field of Instrument & Control in an oil and gas facility. Strong Knowledge and experience in Profibus, Foundation fieldbus and Hart communication. Strong Knowledge and experience in PLC (Allen Bradly, Siemens) installation, troubleshooting and modificationStrong Knowledge and experience in GWR (Guided Wave Radar),CCI Control valve & Positioner, Bently Nevada (Vibration Monitoring), TGS - Servo Level installation, Operation & Maintenance, troubleshooting and modification.

Strong Knowledge and experience in Loading Arm Hydraulic Units Operation & Maintenance, troubleshooting and modification . Strong Knowledge in Fire and gas Operation & Maintenance experienceStrong Knowledge in Hazardous areas Classification and managementEnglish & Portuguese Language speakers
