Developed in line with our strategic plan, this is an exciting opportunity to join our Leadership Team during a period of significant transformation. Reporting directly to a visionary and fast-paced CEO, you'll be instrumental in shaping a high-performing and engaging workplace culture. We are seeking an energetic and purpose-driven strategic leader who will be a dedicated organisational-wide agent for the entire AWLQ portfolio. You will have expertise with creating and delivering comprehensive marketing strategies to support operational business plans, utilising compelling storytelling to build brand awareness and increase revenue.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and inspire a team of passionate marketing and communications professionals. Be the agent and collaborate with leaders across all departments (e. g. , Fundraising, Operations, Rehoming, Vet Services, Retail) to deliver unified and impactful campaigns that achieve our shared goals.
Manage the development and execution of a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications strategy that aligns with our mission and strategic plan. Inspire and develop a compelling content strategy, telling the stories of our animals, employees, volunteers, business areas and community to inspire action and support. Act as a brand champion, ensuring consistency in all internal and external communications to strengthen our reputation and enhance brand recognition. Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. Oversee the public relations strategy, acting as a key spokesperson and managing media relationships.
Essential Qualifications And ExperienceA minimum of 5-years of progressive experience in a marketing and communications leadership role. Proven track record in developing and executing successful, multi-channel marketing strategies. Experience in brand management, public relations, and digital content creation. A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
