Job Description

The Animatic Editor will handle video editing, media management, basic sound, music and delivery.What You Will Do:Create the final animatic that will be shipped to animationInsert temp Sound EffectsPlace Dialogue (final and temp)Create pace and tone of episode utilizing a music temp trackThe animatic editor is responsible for obtaining proper approvals and delivering various versions of the project for distributionManage timeline and multi-taskCollaborate with Showrunners, directors, and designers through pre-production to ensure creative direction is followedRun needed screenings for reviewRequired Qualifications & Skills:Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at the same timeThis person should have a passion for storytelling and strong ability to combine assets into captivating narratives to create impactful narratives through editing and animation2+ years of experience animatic editorialHigh degree of proficiency in Avid Media ComposerSelf-motivated team player who can thrive in team environments as well as work independentlyClose attention to detail and obsession with high quality workThe pay rate for this role in Glendale, California is $66.40 to $73.04 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
