THE POSITIONFinance Controller THE COMPANYOur client, an international company, is looking for a Financial Controller with a strong background in Accounting and Taxation. Location: Astana THE JOBKey Responsibilities: Oversee and manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records in compliance with local and international standards. Manage tax planning, reporting, and compliance, providing expert guidance on complex tax issues. Monitor and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Provide commercial insights and financial recommendations to management to drive business growth and profitability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and commercial departments, to ensure effective risk management. Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies. THE CANDIDATEQualifications and Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus. English – fluent. Proven experience as a Chief Accountant, Financial Controller, or similar senior finance role. Strong expertise in taxation and compliance with local and international regulations. Solid commercial and business partnering experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
