This role requires an in-depth understanding of procurement and AP processes.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform steps to process vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner.Review/input vendor setup, including bank information, and tax documents.Support vendor communications such as responding to basic inquiries.Learn and contribute to monthly accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.Work with procurement to request POs for invoices that don’t have one already.Resolve discrepancies between POs, invoices, and receipts.Assist with Month End Close procedures including preparing accruals.Support finance and accounting projects as needed.Perform ad hoc projects in accounting as required.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent work experience)2 years of industry experience in accounts payableProficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), Microsoft Office, and Google SuiteExperience with Zip, Bill.com, Coupa, or similar procurement platformsSelf starter, work autonomously while also contributing as part of a collaborative teamStrong written and verbal communication skills, detail orientedPreferred QualificationsExperience with NetsuiteWorking in a manufacturing environment We offer competitive compensation.
