For our business, for clients, and for youSales & Marketing ManagerReporting to Chief Executive Officer PAXUSJob ObjectiveThis is a permanent role based in the Isle of Man offices of Pacific fund Systems Europe Limited and is to facilitate and enable the professional, efficient and successful delivery of PFS’ marketing and business development strategic plan with a key focus on pursuing new business development targets and on-boarding new clients. PFS develop, maintain and supply PFS-PAXUS and PFS-CONNECT, fund accounting and fund administration software systems. Key role specific accountabilities will be:
Respond to all new customer enquires – provide relevant information including product brochures and arrange software demonstrations Respond to high level system functionality queries liaising with PFS support and development staff as necessary. Manage lead generation and track all new enquiries throughout the sales cycle, diarise follow ups and develop customer relationships. Maintain and develop industry networks with links to existing and potential clients via face-to-face, email, phone and digital media. Co-ordinate all new client on-boarding, co-ordinating review and sign off of all related client legal agreements and ensure smooth handover to implementation process.
Maintain ongoing dialogue with current and potential customer’s promotion of new system to developments and maintain PFS’ profile throughout the sales cycle. To create and coordinate review and sign off of periodical client communications - including press releases, newsletters and survey reviews etc ensure excellent relationships with all clients and maintaining a key focus on primary/ large clients. Manage the drafting, maintenance, production, formatting and editing, where required, of all printed and digital business development documents and presentations for business development opportunities with clients and/or distribution /media partners.
Source suitable PR & Media opportunities in order to promote PFS-PAXUS and PFS-CONNECT and develop the appropriate copy when required. Reconcile the related marketing budget on a monthly basis in line with the agreed budget allocation. Event planning - source and undertake the required administration for PFS to exhibit at relevant conferences and direct B2B PFS events. Manage PFS’ digital footprint including website, social media and other online portals in line with the marketing and business development strategic plan ensuring all information presented isclear, concise, relevant and up-to-date.
Respond to and track all client enquiries in the day-to-day maintenance and ongoing development of new and existing new business propositions to ensure live enquiries are reported and followed up to conclusion of the client decision process. To continuously monitor and stay abreast of current industry trends, market movements and competitor analysis via industry publications, offline and web based research. To produce sales aids / presentations that are appropriate to the current market conditions. Ensuring at all times that the marketing literature is fully compliant with PFS branding and ethos.
To document all related procedures and recommend changes where necessary to ensure ongoing improvement and ease of transition and training within PFS. Assist with all company administration and projects as required. Qualifications & Experience Administration experience of the sales cycle in a B2B financial services and/or software environment related to the fund and /or investment administration industry Preferable existing network in a similar related environment. Preferably hold (or be working towards) a relevant CIM qualification Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Marketing or business development related experience, preferably degree educated in a Marketing or Business related field. An up-to-date knowledge and understanding of digital media integration and benefits utilising social media and SEO to drive new business enquiries. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Sharepoint. A solid working knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) and/or similar related web and design development tool applications. Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role preferred.

Assist in other day-to-day office administration as and when required Be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to assist in the development of the business Have a congenial personality and good communication skills to support advanced relationship management with colleagues and clients.
Ability to self-motivate, self-manage and independently organise workflows. Ability to solve problems under pressure. Preference to work in a small office environment. Ability to work under self-motivation, influence outcomes and drive processes without supervision. OtherThe lob is located in Isle of Man but the candidate may be required to travel and or work at other PFS offices in the future. The role will be 9am -5pm, Mon-Friday with 1 hour for lunch. Holidays 25 days pa. Salary Dependent on Experience and qualifications.
The role will be eligible for consideration of an annual bonus, payable at the sole discretion of the board, where applicable such bonus will be commensurate with group profitability and individual performance review.
