This role is responsible for the smooth and timely unloading of inbound line-haul trucks and the reloading of freight bound for our South Island customers. We’re looking for a team player who is comfortable working across Thursday to Sunday and are committed to keeping freight moving efficiently and safely.
The Role Involves Unloading inbound glass line-haul units from the North Island in a safe and timely manner Sorting and reloading freight—such as glass frail and trolleys—for regional South Island deliveries Checking freight documentation for accuracy and maintaining clear records A minimum of 32 hours per week, across Thursday to Sunday Excellent working conditions in a well-equipped logistics centreWe Are Searching For Someone Like You, Who Has Current F endorsement + OSH Certificate is preferred but training can be provided for the right person Minimum Class 1 licence, Class 4 is advantageous High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that all freight is handled correctly A good understanding of safe loading practices and transport legislation Impeccable safety standards A positive and flexible attitudeThis role supports our South Island distribution network and plays a key part in keeping our customers supplied and satisfied.
