As our Transport Planner, you will be responsible for carrying out the coordination, problem solving and administrative activities needed to deliver the tyres to Customers, and to Apollo Warehouses - on time, and on the possible most effective way. You also need to ensure customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and smooth operation in transportation and delivery services. Should any issue arises, it is important that you provide the information to internal customers, warehouse 3PLs and the carriers as soon as possible, to mitigate business risks.
Last but not least, you are also in charge of creating reporting and data sharing needed for Management, for Internal Customers and for performance monitoring. Major Responsibilities: Monitor Delivery notes, and build-up ShipmentsMonitor Delivery slots and schedule shipmentsAllocate shipments and book Carriers or ForwardersAvoid influence attempts and violations from CarriersLoading plan and coordination with WarehousesFollow-up and coordination until deliveryMonitor transport completion actual vs.
the plan, and impose penalties whenever neededReview Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, and approve the shipments for invoicingImport and export documentation handlingEnsure fulfillment of Customer and Country specific requirementsReporting and information sharing to relevant stakeholdersCarrier and Forwarder performance monitoringMonitor IT systems used, and act in case of abnormalityRequirements: High school diploma and similar education in the area of LogisticsGood at Microsoft O365 (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and communication channels (email, phone, SMS, Microsoft Teams)Enjoy working in a strictly standardized environmentHigh level of accuracy and reliability.
