The primary purpose of the Warehousing Control Tower position is to serve as the first-level contact between 3 Apollo Tyres regional distribution centers (RDCs) and third party logistics providers (3PLs), as well as internal and external suppliers, with a primary focus on the Finished Goods Warehouse at the Gyöngyöshalász Plant. The role involves closely monitoring warehouse processes, expenditures, failures, and losses to protect Apollo Tyres’ and its customers' interests.

The specialist is responsible for identifying weaknesses, failure modes, and improvement opportunities, and for coordinating corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and smooth operations in warehousing, loading, and dispatch. Additionally, the role includes leading or participating in Logistics Europe projects related to these areas. Major Responsibilities: 1. Warehouse Management & OperationsEnsure expected performance of 3 Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs)Coordinate daily operation with third party logistics providers (3PLs) to and improve processes. Build and maintain comprehensive reporting and performance monitoring solutions. Maintain accurate master data necessary for warehouse and dispatch operations.

Manage IT issues related to warehouse systems and support user acceptance testing. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment; lead safety and housekeeping initiatives (e. g. , 5S). Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety rules and company policies. Facilitate clear communication within warehouse teams and follow supervisor instructions. Lead and support Logistics projects. 2. Collaboration, Compliance, and SafetyClose cooperation with internal teams (e. g. Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service) and external partners (e. g. transport providers, warehouses) to support smooth daily operations.

Adherence to all documented procedures, work instructions, and training guidelines; execution of tasks only when listed and approved in the skill matrix. Strict compliance with ethical conduct rules; immediate escalation of any attempt of improper influence or behavior from internal or external parties. Maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized work environment; correct use and care of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Acceptance and execution of instructions only from officially assigned supervisors or designated coordinators, in line with organizational guidelines. Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or similar education in the area of Supply Chain/Logistics/Business AdministrationProfessional written and verbal communication in both Hungarian and EnglishMust HaveAt least 2 years of experience in warehousingStrong leadership attitude and ability to take initiativeFlexible with working hours and travel between warehouse locationsConfident computer user, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsComfortable using email, phone, SMS, and Teams for daily communicationHigh attention to detail and accuracyAble to work independently and solve problemsGood team player with strong cooperation skillsNice to HaveBasic knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF, or VDA 6.
