If you are someone who is driven by curiosity, eager to continuously enhance your knowledge on technical and business aspects, and enjoys transforming exciting business and technical requirements into realistic and maintainable IT solutions, then this role is for you.As An Application Design Analyst, Your Responsibilities Will IncludeCollaborating closely with colleagues across various domains and external suppliers to devise the most efficient and customer-centric solution.Supervising and mentoring the implementation teams to ensure that the delivery aligns with the design and plan.Providing mentorship to the team, ensuring the delivery of balanced, operable, and maintainable solutions.Assisting with the detailed analysis of the solution or providing the detailed specification when required.Taking ownership of the delivered solutions, performing hands-on interventions or providing support to ensure the quality and uptime of the applications.Taking on the role of application owner and/or contributing to the definition of the application’s evolution and/or defining the future roadmap of activities to keep the solutions (Hardware & Software) up-to-date.Performing periodic daylight and overnight production support.Your QualificationsTechnical Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ITAt least 3 years of experience in a similar roleKnowledge of mainframe technology (PLI, DB2 DBMS, M-queues, CICS)Soft SkillsA desire for a multifaceted and exciting job that lets you fulfill your sense of responsibility and accountabilityInterest in the business services delivered by a leading market infrastructureExperience in analyzing applications and learning and working on sophisticated systemsGood algorithmic thinking skillsSelf-motivated, autonomous, problem-oriented, and able to create high-quality solutions considering the available meansAbility to work and establish good working relations in a dynamic, multi-cultural, and exciting environment (experience with offshore delivery is a plus)Flexibility, pro-activity, structured approach, and superb communication skillsExperience in mentoring peopleGood knowledge of EnglishWork outside of business hours is sometimes required as launches in production are generally carried out after 5PM or on Saturday as well as watch duty during nights and weekends.About UsWhy join usEmbark on your new adventure at Euroclear, and work at the heart of the global capital markets.
