SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support our customers with implementation, training, and technical expertise across Hexagon’s metrology portfolio. In this hands-on role, you will work with stationary and portable coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), deliver customer training, and play a key role in supporting sales activities throughout the region.Job ResponsibilitiesDeliver professional application training for metrology software such as PC-DMIS and InspireProvide remote and on-site technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and software maintenancePrepare and verify the functionality of shipped metrology units and peripheries before deliveryConduct live product demonstrations and technical presentations for customers and prospectsSupport the sales team with technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales engagementsPerform contract measurements and application programming both at customer sites and in-houseTravel to domestic and international customer sites (approx. 40–50% of time), including overnight staysDocument all training, demo, and application-related activities and maintain shared calendars and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)QualificationsTechnical degree or certification in metrology, mechanical engineering, or related fieldMinimum 2 years’ experience operating and programming CMMs (stationary and/or portable)Strong understanding of metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS); knowledge of Vision systems and Optiv products is an advantageFluent in English; capable of delivering training in English and working with international teamsProactive, well-organized, and capable of working independently and in small collaborative teamsComfortable with frequent travel (mainly within Hungary) and direct interaction with customers in technical environmentsWe OfferWork with innovative and market-leading metrology technologies in a dynamic industryCollaborative, tight-knit local team with strong connections to global Hexagon expertsOpportunities for continuous learning, training, and career developmentCompetitive salary package and travel expense coverage
