Application EngineerAn application engineer is needed for a global company that develops machines for optical scanning of printed circuits (PCB).Location: Nof HaGalilJob DescriptionTechnical support for the company's customers globally (post / pre-sale)Performing training on the company's products and various projects for the technical / engineering team.Collaboration with the R&D team (software developers, hardware engineers and physicists) to define solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.Defining next-generation features based on customer needs.Testing applications coming from the field and creating reports for customers and internal users.Working with company engineers and managers in Israel and abroad, transferring knowledge to the field.Performing system tests during the development stages.Analysis and repair of faults (Debugging).Working with simulators and test environments.Writing technical documents.Do not work directly with end customers.Job requirementsMechanical or electronics engineer, possibly an engineer with experienceBackground in mechanics, hardware and opticsWork experience in a company that develops software-based multidisciplinary systems.Ability to analyze and repair faults (Debugging), analyze complex problems, understand and test dataExperience working with documentation TechnicalExperience in serving customers abroad is an advantageExperience in system engineering is an advantageBasic knowledge of coding is an advantageHigh level of EnglishCharacteristics and abilitiesIndependent learning ability and curiosity.Teamwork.Attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills.Service orientation.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to actively manage multiple projects and critical issues simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure.
