This will significantly increase your chances of success_____________________________________________________________About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Application Production Support Engineer to ensure seamless operations and service continuity for key banking applications. You’ll be part of a dynamic production support team handling incident management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for mission-critical systems.The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of banking operations, experience in L1/L2 support, and solid technical knowledge of Linux, PL/SQL, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.Main Responsibilities Supervise and manage Close of Business (COB) operations, resolving any production incidents to ensure SLA compliance. Provide L1 and L2 application support, including monitoring, incident resolution, and system analysis. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with infrastructure, database, and development teams. Manage and update ServiceNow/JIRA tickets, ensuring stakeholders are informed throughout the resolution process. Support batch processing, reconciliations, and end-of-day operations. Participate in infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and deployment activities. Maintain documentation, procedures, and the internal knowledge base (FAQs, How-To guides). Collaborate with Business Technology, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to enhance system stability and automation. Support go-live events, system migrations, and branch openings when required.Technical Requirements (must appear in your CV)✅ Proven experience in banking L1/L2 support and production environments.✅ Strong understanding of core banking domains: Retail Banking (Accounts, Deposits & Loans), Treasury Operations, Wealth & Securities, Payments (TPH), and Financial Accounting.✅ Proficiency with Linux/Unix, Shell scripting, SQL, and log analysis.✅ Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and automation tools.✅ Knowledge of banking interfaces, APIs, and middleware.✅ Familiarity with ITIL processes, ticketing tools (ServiceNow, JIRA), and DevOps principles (CI/CD).✅ Experience managing Core Banking Applications and understanding payment interfaces (SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS).✅ Experience with Autosys or similar scheduling/monitoring tools.Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Proactive, persistent, and adaptable to changing priorities. Collaborative and team-oriented approach. Highly organized and detail-focused.Availability Willingness to work in 24/7 shift rotation (including weekends and public holidays). On-call availability for weekday/weekend escalations.
