We’re looking for an Application Specialist to join us in Zurich.Your RoleThe role of Application Specialist will involve:Conducting product training courses in the areas of MCS (neuro, spine, ENT, P&R, dental) and related consumables and accompanying customers in the operating room during surgery, as well as providing refresher trainingPreparing and conducting internal training sessionsProviding technical support and clarifying application-related questionsSupporting the commissioning of systemsSupporting customer demonstrations through training or operational support at the customer's site (planning, preparation, and implementation)Carrying out briefings in accordance with the Medical Devices Act for new deliveriesConducting follow-up training and operational support at the customer's premisesSupporting customer workshopsAttending trade fairs as requiredServing as a permanent contact person for customers with application questions (after-sales support)Developing new training conceptsTraining and instruction of ZEISS employees in the use of products (SSC)Organization and implementation of internal workshops (SSC)Support with product launchesTechnical clarifications and support with technical issues, such as public tenders, complex device configurations, etc.Your ExperienceCommercial, clinical specialist, or medical-technical trainingAt least 2 years of experience in supporting medical consumables and devices for the operating room, ideally in one of the relevant clinical areasLanguages: German, French, English are essential (ideally Italian)Strong customer focusGood intuition for customers and situational responsiveness, strong social skills and communication abilitiesIndependent, structured, and self-reliant approach to workGood degree of initiative and flexibility, willingness to travelStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to present and explain complex processes in a simple mannerWillingness to work irregular hours (in exceptional cases on weekends).
