Job Description

Application Support (APS) We are looking for Application Support Specialists to join a global IT APS team, working in an international environment and supporting key e-commerce applications for the investment banking domain.Your mission will be to ensure system stability, resolve incidents, support internal users, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a critical production environment.Main ResponsibilitiesProvide first-class support to internal users, ensuring timely and effective incident resolution.Investigate and resolve data or system issues, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures.Liaise with development teams to communicate and track issues raised by the business.Manage incidents, problems, and change requests following ITIL standards.Maintain detailed documentation and knowledge bases for recurring issues.Plan, test, and deploy functional fixes and system enhancements.Prepare environments for releases and oversee implementation and pre-production testing.Support overnight batch processes performing end-of-day valuations and risk analysis.Technical SkillsLinux/UNIX & Windows Systems – Expert levelMonitoring tools: DynatraceSchedulers: $Universe / Univiewer (or equivalent)Databases: SQL / OracleScripting: Python and other scripting languagesLanguage SkillsEnglish: Fluent (mandatory)Portuguese & French: Basic understanding (nice to have)Soft SkillsExcellent communication (oral & written)Strong teamwork and collaboration abilitiesProactive and solution-oriented mindset
