Application Test Engineer

ResponsibilitiesPerform regular and ad hoc testing of mobile applications and features, with a strong focus on the Japan market.Design, update, and maintain comprehensive test cases.Analyze and report test results, track bugs, and maintain test dashboards.Actively participate in team sync-up meetings, ensuring timely communication and follow-ups on issues.Leverage Google-provided internal tools for testing, reporting, and daily QA activities.Qualifications1+ years of hands-on experience in application and mobile feature testing, especially within Japanese market.Native level Japanese and strong communication skills in English – capable of reading, writing, and speakingExperience in testing communication-related protocols (e.g., voice calls, messaging, satellite, cellular networks).Exposure to automation testing frameworks or tools.Basic programming knowledge in Python.
