We are looking for you for an apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer (m/f/d) at our headquarters in Augsburg from 01.09.2026.Are you interested in mechanics and electronics and don't know which career field to choose? Global presence and successful growth combined with a forward-looking mindset, flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, long-term partnerships and varied tasks in special mechanical engineering - that is Hosokawa Alpine.What can you expect during your apprenticeship?Filing, sawing, soldering - in the 1st year of your apprenticeship you will learn the basic skills of metalworking and electrical engineering.You'll work your way through our various departments, from electrical assembly to the technical center. In the process, you'll get to know the company even better and will be an important member of our team.Our dedicated trainers will help you with all your questions and challenges.Parallel to your training at the company, you will attend vocational school.Your tasks include, for example:Testing and measuring electrical voltagesMaintenance and repair of machines and systemsInstalling controls and programming systemsWiring control cabinetsThe apprenticeship usually lasts 3.5 years. If you perform well, it is possible to shorten the training to 3 years.What You Should BringYou must have at least an intermediate school leaving certificate with good grades in technical subjects such as math, physics and chemistry.Technical understanding and manual skills are important for your dream job.A little bit of English wouldn't hurt either, as you may come across some technical drawings and terms in English and we work in an international environment.You work carefully and responsibly on tasks that are assigned to you.An office workstation is too boring for you in the long run, you prefer to lend a hand physically.What We Offer YouWe offer you optimal training conditions with our modern and well-equipped training center as well as our dedicated and qualified instructors.Your training is important, but so is your free time. We have a 35-hour week, so there is enough time for your private life.We are in the metal and electrical collective agreement and offer our trainees an attractive remuneration package.We support you in your exam preparation with preparatory courses, old exams and intensive supervision.Our working atmosphere is impressive; people help each other wherever they can.A large team of trainees and dual students makes it easier for you to get started and creates plenty of opportunities for exchange.Your work clothes are provided and washed for you.Our on-site canteen serves seasonal and fresh meals.And after the apprenticeship?Our trainees are taken on for at least one year after completing their training normally. However, most of our trainees stay with us much longer and we are happy to accompany them through their career. But the end of the apprenticeship is by no means the end of the line - further training is important to us, which is why we have created the Alpine Campus.
