You’ll start contributing from the moment you join, as you get involved in real projects – and have every chance to develop and grow. Our program follows a work-based approach to learning, you’ll gain a real-world understanding of Stanbic Bank, as you’re guided and supported to achieve the goals you’ve set yourself.
The program integrates practical, theory, structured work experience as well as access to various learning opportunities. Our ideal candidate will actively seek to understand Stanbic Banks core values, initiatives and translate those values into everyday practice. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and should easily display innovative and analytical problem solving skills with an unrelenting passion for excellence. As an apprentice, you will: Gain practical work experience across our core business units. Support teams on real business projects and day-to-day operations. Participate in structured training sessions designed to build technical and professional skills.
Work under the guidance of experienced mentors and managers. Learn about Stanbic’s culture, values, and customer-first approach. Contribute innovative ideas that can create real impact within the bank. QualificationsTo be eligible, you must: Be a Ugandan Citizen. Have completed an undergraduate program between 2023 - 2025 Have graduated with at least a 4. 0 GPA or equivalent (First Class Division). Have less than 2 years of work experience. Be open to opportunities that may require rotations across both frontline (customer facing) and back-office operations. Not be enrolled in another graduate program or internship at the time of application.
