Our product is embedded directly into partner service offerings—not simply resold. We’re seeking a strategic and execution-focused VP of Marketing to lead our marketing function and build a scalable, channel-first marketing engine. This role is ideal for a seasoned partner marketing leader in the cybersecurity or compliance space who is ready to step into broader executive leadership role. What You'll DoChannel & Partner Marketing (Key Focus)Lead the partner marketing strategy targeting MSP, MSSP, and MDR partners. Develop and operationalize co-marketing programs to generate pipeline and drive adoption of packaged service offerings that include our platform.
Build and maintain a scalable partner marketing playbook—enablement kits, messaging templates, packaging guides, and onboarding assets. Collaborate with partners on GTM execution—joint campaigns, co-branded content, webinars, events, and demand-gen initiatives. Support business development efforts with strategic marketing guidance for high-impact partner acquisition. Market Leadership & Demand Generation (Key Focus)Own the company’s marketing function—recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team across demand gen, product marketing, and creative. Accelerate Appetga’s brand performance to reach vision to become the #1 security compliance platform for managed security providers.
Head the creative strategy of the company and drive growth through impactful product marketing campaigns and optimized messaging. Build a metrics-driven demand generation engine with high-visibility reporting across end-to-end funnel, all channels and campaigns, and drive continual improvement Collaborate cross-functionally to define GTM strategy, messaging, pricing, segmentation, and packaging. Own the digital strategy to grow and convert website traffic through SEO, SEM, and content, using analytics to guide decisions and maximize ROI. Champion innovation by leveraging emerging AI technologies to enhance marketing performance, improve efficiency, and keep the team ahead of industry trends.
Strategic Leadership & Product AlignmentWork closely with the product and technology teams to shape product positioning and messaging based on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and buyer needs. Serve as a key member of the executive team, helping to shape company strategy and business plans across functions. Partner internally to define business plans, partner incentives, and growth strategies. Be a servant leader who operates with humility, empathy, and a people-first mindset and prioritizes team success and individual growth by empowering others to perform at their best while removing obstacles and leading with integrity. What You Will Bring (Qualifications & Experience)8–12+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role at a cybersecurity or GRC-focused company. Proven success building and leading marketing programs that drive partner-led growth through MSPs, MSSPs, and MDRs—especially embedded offerings. Experience building and scaling marketing teams; strong ability to mentor, inspire, and develop talent.
Strong command of demand gen strategy, CRM/funnel analytics, and performance measurement. Hands-on with tools like Salesforce/HubSpot, and Marketo, and PRM systems. Demonstrated ability to lead messaging strategy, content development, brand positioning, and product launch campaigns. A big-picture thinker who can also roll up sleeves to drive results in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Skilled at working across product, sales, and customer success to align messaging and GTM strategy. A leadership mindset with the desire and capability to grow in role as the company scales.
