Analyse kerbside, mobility, and geospatial datasets to identify trends and opportunitiesBuild dashboards and visualisations to track product performance and inform business decisionsTranslate product challenges into data-driven questions and deliver insights for strategyExplore AI platforms (Vertex AI, OpenAI) for survey imagery analysis, forecasting, and other use casesSupport the product development lifecycle through backlog creation, sprint planning, and agile ceremoniesAutomate workflows where possible to improve data and product processesPresent insights and recommendations to influence AppyWay's roadmap and customer value deliveryKey ResponsibilitiesPerform exploratory data analysis to understand patterns in kerbside usage and mobility flowsDesign and test predictive models (e. g.

, demand forecasting, clustering, optimisation)Support product decisions with evidence-backed insights and dashboardsApply computer vision and ML techniques to survey imagery and kerbside datasetsExperiment with AI models from platforms such as Vertex AI and OpenAI to extract insights from imagery and unstructured dataFamiliarity with Python for data analysis and prototyping AI solutionsWork closely with engineering and participate in sprint planningDocument findings and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequirementsEssentialDegree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Urban Planning, Transport Technology, Mobility, Smart Cities, or related fields from a leading UK University2:

1 degree or equivalent, in any discipline (STEM or non-STEM)Hands-on experience with AI tools beyond ChatGPT —whether through work, academic projects, or personal experimentationInterest in applying AI/ML for practical use cases, even if not a core technical expertInterest in agile ways of working and hands-on product development exposureStrong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking, with critical thinking credentials to solve complex business challenges Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPassionate about using technology to deliver real-world impact in reducing congestion, improving kerbside efficiency, and enabling sustainable urban mobilityTools & Proficiency (Nice-to-Have) Data analysis & querying:

SQL, Postgres, BigQuery Programming basics: Python for data manipulation and light automation BI & visualisation: Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI Workflow automation: APIs, Google Cloud workflows, Zapier, or equivalent tools Geospatial analysis: GeoPandas, QGIS, ArcGIS (desirable) Cloud platforms: Google Cloud (Vertex AI), Azure Collaboration & agile tools: Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Jupyter NotebooksCareer PathThis role builds foundations in data analytics, BI, and product practice.
