Global Account Director – Life Sciences (Switzerland)We are partnering with a leading global provider of software and services to the life sciences sector to appoint a Global Account Director. This senior commercial leadership role will manage two of the world’s largest Swiss-based pharmaceutical clients, driving strategic growth across their global operations. The position offers the opportunity to work at the highest levels within the biopharma industry, orchestrating multi-disciplinary teams and delivering innovative solutions that transform drug discovery and development.
Based ideally in Switzerland, the Global Account Director will act as the strategic lead for these accounts, engaging with senior executives, building long-term partnerships, and delivering year-on-year growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategic account management for two major Swiss-headquartered pharmaceutical clientsBuild and maintain C-suite relationships and influence at multiple organisational levelsDevelop and execute global account plans across software and services offeringsOrchestrate cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, to deliver client successIdentify and convert growth opportunities, from initial engagement through to deal executionLead Quarterly Business Reviews and ensure effective governance structures are in placeMaintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and CRM data integrityKey Requirements10+ years in senior enterprise sales or global account management, ideally in life sciences or R&D software/servicesProven track record managing large, complex global accounts and delivering growthStrong consultative selling skills and ability to engage at executive levelStrategic thinker with the ability to execute and lead through influenceExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environmentFluency in English; additional European languages advantageousBased in Switzerland or willing to relocateThis is a rare opportunity to take ownership of two strategic global accounts in the life sciences sector, working at the intersection of innovation, technology, and patient impact.
