The ArcGIS Developer Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing GIS applications and solutions. Daily tasks involve coding, testing, and troubleshooting GIS software, integrating GIS technologies with enterprise applications, and providing technical support and training to clients. The consultant will work closely with other developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native GIS solutions in accordance with enterprise architecture standards.Configure, customize, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise components, including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Pro.Develop interactive GIS web applications and dashboards using ArcGIS Experience Builder with an emphasis on performance and visual design.Integrate GIS systems with external applications and data sources through REST APIs, web services, and other interoperability standards.Manage and optimize spatial databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar platforms) ensuring data accuracy, performance, and spatial processing capabilities.Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for GIS application development using Git or other version control systems.Conduct troubleshooting, performance tuning, and provide technical support for GIS-related issues.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient and scalable GIS solutions.Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience in ArcGIS DeveloperProven experience in ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, ArcGIS Pro) development and configuration.Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Experience Builder for developing web-based GIS applications and dashboards.Deep understanding of the ArcGIS platform and its ecosystem.Experience integrating GIS solutions with external systems via REST APIs and Web Services.Proficiency in spatial database management, including spatial queries and data processing using SQL, Snowflake, or similar technologies.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern software development practices for GIS.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
