Job Description

Grivalia Development is seeking for an Architect to join the project development team and support the ongoing construction of Hospitality projects and luxury residential properties. Candidates should have:10 years of proven experience in the design and construction field, with particular emphasis on Hospitality and luxury residential projects.experience in reviewing, completing and adapting the design, to ensure the feasibility of the project. Scope of workReview, coordinate and further develop architectural designs, studies and specifications for hospitality and residential projects.Collaborate with Grivalia Development’s multidisciplinary team, including civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers.Construction site monitoring to ensure efficiency in work progress, compatibility with the approved design and maintenance of all quality standards.Site inspection to ensure that implementation methodology meets the construction materials’ specifications.Provide technical guidance to the contractor’s personnel.Ensure that all works comply with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards.Evaluate materials, systems and construction methods for efficiency, cost-effectiveness and sustainability.Estimate quantities, costs, materials and deadlines for in-budget and time project delivery.Participate in feasibility studies, cost estimation and risk assessments.Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders in Greek and English.Manage environmentally certified works according to LEED, BREEAM, GRESB, etc. specifications.Knowledge, skills and abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred) and Professional Engineer (PE) license.Minimum 10 years of actual work experience in reviewing and coordinating studies and managing projects with active participation in construction sites.General knowledge of urban planning regulations (e.g., NOK), building regulations, fire protection provisions, project licensing provisions, etc.Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language - excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.Very good knowledge of design software (e.g. Autocad, Archicad, etc.) and MS Office, optional knowledge of project scheduling programs (e.g. MS Project), etc.Availability to work on site in the Company's ongoing projects, in collaboration with the Company's team of engineers.
