Job DescriptionOur Landscape Department in our Copenhagen headquarters are searching for a Senior Project Manager.Reporting to the Partner of Landscape, the Senior Project Manager of BIG Landscape holds a key role in BIG as the person responsible for the contractual administration, reporting and prioritization of key projects within the BIG Landscape department.This position is directly linked to projects in the GCC region.Under supervision from Partner in Charge, and in collaboration with Project Managers, the SPM has primary responsibility to oversee the commercial, contractual, and administrative aspects of specific landscape projects, ensuring compliance with contract conditions and project objectives across all stages.The SPM is also overall responsible for managing and coordinating BIG/Client contractual relations. Key Responsibilities1. Contract Administration & ComplianceKnow and understand contractual conditions, deliverables, deadlines and success criteria for the project’s implementation.Review, interpret, and administer contracts.Ensure compliance with Client and Consultants contractual obligations.Evaluate needs for variations orders, EWN, claims, and extension of time (EoT) submissions.Prepare and issue notices, instructions, and correspondence in accordance with contract terms.Support project managers with contractual guidance and dispute avoidance.2. Risk & Claim ManagementIdentify potential commercial and contractual risks and propose mitigation measures.Maintain records to substantiate claims or defend against contractor claims.Lead the preparation and defence of claims, variations, and contractual disputes.3. Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication of contractual matters.Represent the company in commercial and contractual meetings.4. Project Reporting & GovernancePrepare weekly/monthly commercial and contractual reports for management and clients.Maintain an overview of contract performance, deliverables, and obligations.Support the Project Managers in ensuring compliance with company policies, QA/QC standards, and regional regulations.Skills & Competencies•  Strong understanding of contracts and GCC-specific contract law.•  Expertise in landscape construction is a plus. Expertise in cost control.•  Skilled in claim preparation, variation evaluation, and dispute resolution.•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic advantageous).•  High proficiency in Excel, cost management software, and document control platforms (e.g., Aconex, Primavera Contract Manager).•  Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.•  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.Qualifications & Experience•  10+ years’ experience in contract/commercial management within landscape or infrastructure projects.•  Proven track record in GCC-based projects (UAE, KSA, Qatar, etc.) with leading consultants or contractors.BIG offers:•  International group of architects, technologists, engineers and specialists with more than 45 different nationalities•  Great variety of company discounts•  Salary and pension scheme based on experience and qualifications•  Flexible lunch options•  Possibility of further educationApplication:Please apply using the "Send Application"-button.
