Architectural Designer FULL TIME - HYBRID — This role works mostly remotely, but we do ask that candidates live in Southern New Hampshire or Massachusetts for occasional site visits. We appreciate your understanding!About us: Making Architecture is a design-forward, fully remote architecture studio focused on thoughtful, human-centered projects across residential, commercial, and adaptive reuse work. We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our growing team and contribute to all phases of design, documentation, and project coordination.About the RoleThe Architectural Designer will support project teams throughout the complete architectural process from concept design through construction administration. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely while collaborating closely with colleagues, consultants, and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign + Documentation (SD, DD, CD)Develop design concepts, diagrams, models, and visual presentationsProduce coordinated plans, elevations, sections, and detailsConduct planning studies, occupancy analyses, and code researchPrepare construction documents and assist with specificationsMaintain Revit models, drawing standards, and sheet organizationProject SupportAssist with permit and bid packagesRespond to consultant review comments and client feedbackReview submittals and shop drawings during CAParticipate in occasional site and client meetingsWhat We’re Looking For2–4 years of architectural experience preferredBS in Architecture, BArch, or MArchStrong proficiency in Revit (required)Proficiency in Sketchup and rendering softwares preferredFoundational understanding of wood frame construction Strong design, technical, and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentExperience across multiple project phases is a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompensation: Based on experiencePTO, Sick Time and Health StipendFully remote role with occasional in-person meetingsOpportunities for growth as the studio expandsHow to applyPlease send an email to Contact@makingarch.com with Resume and Work Samples.
