Job Description We are seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will oversee multiple construction projects across the region, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and budget adherence. Manage and coordinate multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets Oversee project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders Implement and maintain quality control processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure project success Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in construction management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale projects Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of construction management software and project management tools Extensive experience in budget management, risk assessment, and quality control Excellent understanding of building codes and regulations, particularly in Saudi Arabia Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams Experience working on international construction projects, preferably in the Middle East Familiarity with Middle Eastern construction practices and cultural considerations Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills highly desirable Willingness to travel within the region as needed Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
