That’s what makes us Roche.As the Area Finance Manager for LATAM, you will be the strategic Finance Enterprise Partner for a dynamic and growing region. You will partner with the Regional Head and the regional Leadership Team, acting as a key business partner to develop and drive strategy, and lead the LATAM finance organization. This senior leadership role requires a deep financial background and the ability to translate business decisions into enterprise-wide financial impact while upholding the highest compliance standards. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding optimal resource allocation, identifying new business opportunities, and translating operational decisions into clear, enterprise-wide financial impact.As a situational leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams, you will shape our financial future by leading, coaching, and developing the entire LATAM finance organization, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration and empowered decision-making. Your leadership will extend to Affiliate Finance Managers, whom you will mentor and enable to drive impact, both locally and within the wider finance community, ensuring that your team's work directly supports our mission to bring our medicines to patients. You will drive success within your region while also playing a key role in the Pharma International Finance Network (FINET) and the broader finance community.The Opportunity:Strategic business partnering support to the Regional Head and Regional Leadership Team, providing clarity and direction in a complex and ambiguous environment, to shape and deliver Pharma International’s strategy/agenda/goals and long term business planUpholding the highest compliance standards in all financial processes to ensure transparency as well as accurate and reliable financial dataApplying an entrepreneurial mindset to steer business priorities with clear financial guidance to maximize value, while also establishing and overseeing all financial governance and risk management processesDriving transformation through leadership across Pharma International by embedding agile ways of working, creative leadership mindsets, and applying a rigorous focus on the highest impact and value work through collaborationAct as a strategic catalyst, driving organizational excellence by coaching leaders and teams to simultaneously develop talent, streamline operations, and build a deeply collaborative, networked cultureActively engage in the global Finance network and connect insights across our global and local commercial organizationsDrive success within your region while also playing a key role in the Pharma International Finance Network (FINET) and the broader finance communityWho you are:Extensive experience acting as a strategic business partner to senior and executive-level leaders and strong track record as a Finance leader with a demonstrated ability to architect and implement financial strategies that align with and accelerate enterprise-wide business goals, built upon a foundation of extensive senior-level financial management experienceYou are a proven leader with an enterprise-wide focus, skilled at unifying and guiding diverse, virtual teams of both direct and indirect reports and you are passionate about coaching and developing others, with a commitment to promoting diverse and inclusive environmentsYou think strategically and have exceptional stakeholder management skills which allows you to influence at all levels within a complex, multicultural matrix organizationYou possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a deep sense of curiosity that motivates and inspires your team, you are a strategic thinker who champions agile ways of working, empowered decision-making, and a creative mindset and ou have a strong learning agility and a focus on prioritizing the right work for the highest impactMaster's degree in Economics/Finance required (or a Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience). An MA/MBA is highly preferredFluency in written and spoken English is essential. Advanced Spanish is a strong advantageSignificant international experience, demonstrated by having lived and worked in more than one country and/or direct affiliate-level experienceAs this role covers the LATAM Area and works closely with the global network of Pharma International (PI) it requires an estimated 20% travelingThis role is preferably based in Brazil; however, applications from other locations within Latin America will be consideredRelocation benefits are available for this position.Who we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
