If so, we have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about driving service operations in Dubai, UAE.We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Area Manager - Service, based in our Dubai, UAE office. This role reports to the Head of Service Operations for Dubai. You will be responsible for proactively managing customer relationships, leading and coaching a team of Maintenance Engineers and Technicians, and continuously improving field performance. The role also carries responsibility for driving profitability, growing the business, and delivering high-quality customer service with a strong service mindset.In summary, you will be accountable for all customers, safety, operational, and financial KPIs, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are achieved or exceeded.A service mindset emphasizes creating customer trust, value, and loyalty. Therefore, we are seeking someone with a proven track record as a go-getter—someone who understands how to partner and collaborate across the business, can influence effectively, demonstrates strategic thinking, and brings strong commercial acumen.Are you the one? Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant field Minimum 8 years of Service experience within the Elevator & Escalator industry Strong understanding of Maintenance & Service Business Previous Service Sales experience will be an added advantage An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills Commercially driven and strong understanding of Finance Strong English communication skills – as an operations Manager you will often have to interact with various stakeholders and so the ability to communicate complex data, and to write and speak clearly, are important Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service Attention to detail – You need to be an individual who is precise in their work, able to spot errors, and vigilant to ensure that any problems are corrected for accurate results Ability to effectively evaluate business performance and identify initiatives to drive positive business performance.At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
