Our EMEA Retail team is passionate, driven, multicultural and has a wonderful international spirit.Who You Are:Leading an area with responsibility for all aspects of the management of shop in shop locations and concessions, the Area Manager is responsible for building and leading a team that is dedicated to driving the business. The Area Manager is also responsible for meeting all operational budgets and developing and maintaining a proactive business plan.What You’ll Do:PeopleInspire, lead and coach the store management team to create a culture of performance delivery and accountabilityRecruit top talent to drive team retention, provide training and developing staff to build a team of true MK AmbassadorsProactively manage and resolve all HR issues in collaboration with HRBPPartner with HR and Finance to review PTS, identifying opportunities to improvePractice and role model the company behaviours, ensuring effective use of the behaviour tool kitServiceProvide coaching and support to assist MK Ambassadors in resolving customer service issues, empowering the teams to make decisions in the customer’s best interestEnsure all stores across the area drive additional revenue through local customer eventsBuild and maintain good communication with District Manger and members of corporate office, mall office, retail partners and other stores, collaborating and influencing to drive performance across the areaSalesAnalyze reports and develop action plans to ensure expectations are met or exceededWork with Team on Quarterly Planners to ensure the best business plans are set to achieve targetsTrack and communicate business results and opportunities, driving sales and product needsCollaborate with Business Partners to build strong relationships and identify marketing opportunitiesOperationsEnsure store maintenance is aligned to brand standardsMaintain a systematic auditing programSupport responsibility including all inventory needs for the integrity and accuracy of all logistics relating to the storesDevelop and lead peak planning and sales set upDesign and implement processes and procedures which allow the effective management of store teams remotelyImplement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategiesLead and coach the teams to ensure the presentation of all displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visual directionPlan and Travel with purpose, ensure all doors are visited in line with performance, 3 days per week dedicated to store visitsWhat You’ll Need:Relevant proven retail and management experience within a fast-paced retailerExperience managing shop in shop locations and teams remotelyAble to drive business and ensure the store goals are metAble to work as a charismatic and inspirational leaderAbility to travel up to 80% of the timeExcellent organizational, interpersonal and follow-up skills with attention to detail and accuracyFluent EnglishWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation packageEmployee discount across Michael Kors and Jimmy ChooClothing allotmentEmployee Wellbeing programmeTo know more about working at Michael Kors, click here!
