Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding operational goals, offering tailored solutions, and providing consistent follow-up.Project Initiation & Oversight: Lead the initiation of new customer projects, including defining scope, pricing, deliverables, and timelines. Conduct internal kickoff meetings to ensure seamless project handoff to internal teams and alignment across departments.Sales & Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, bid responses, and product presentations. Clearly communicate our client's value proposition and competitive advantages to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contract Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, terms and conditions, delivery milestones, and change orders. Navigate complex agreements with confidence and clarity.Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support on our client's products and systems — past and present — helping customers resolve technical issues and optimize performance.Internal Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineering, finance, and service departments to ensure customer requirements are met and project execution aligns with scope, budget, and quality expectations.After-Sales Support: Coordinate spare parts and service solutions, support installation and commissioning activities, and help resolve any post-project issues such as acceptance criteria, penalties, or open punch list items.Market Development & Strategy: Contribute to marketing initiatives, including competitor analysis and sales development efforts. Champion new ideas and innovations to support product development and strategic growth.CRM & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and project updates in the company CRM system.Trade Shows & Industry Events: Represent our client at industry trade shows and conferences, both domestic and international, providing sales and technical support at booths and presentations.Your Qualifications:Coffee, cocoa or food equipment experienceMinimum 5 years of capital equipment sales4 year technical degree is desirable, with degree relevant to our business (engineering, food science, chemistry, biology…)Good communication (written and presentation)Your Travel & Region:Frequent travel is required for this role (50-75%).Western US + Western Canada, including the states of CA, NV, UT, OR, WA, HI and AK as well as Western Canada.This position will be remote in the area where they are responsible.Apply now and seize this opportunity!Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):This position requires frequent travel throughout the Eastern U.S. Are you currently located in the Eastern region of the U.S.?Experience:Sales: 7 years (Preferred)Willingness to travel:75% (Required)Work Location: On the road
