We are looking for an Area Sales Manager, responsible for the development of our IDGS segment in the Northern Europe Sales Area, covering the Benelux, the UK, and the Nordic countries. The position is based in Liège Belgium (Liège Science Park).MissionThe mission of our Area Sales Manager IDGS is to identify opportunities, develop and close sales in BEA's Industrial Doors and Gates Sensors segment of activity. He/She reports to the Head of Segment and closely works with the Inside Sales Coordinator to reach the defined targets.As Area Sales Manager IDGS You Will Thenmaintain and develop sales with existing prospects and customers, stimulate partnerships with local partners and key accounts as well as OEM's subsidiariesbeing able to develop and implement a clear strategy (translated into KPI’s), identify and convert sales & upselling opportunities with prospects and existing customers.share her/his knowledge with sales and/or technical staff of our customers during dedicated training sessions (technical or sales).Your Qualities & SkillsAfter in-depth and continuous technical and sales training, common skills and competencies are:Ability to understand customer’s needs and demands, and put these into a global contextAbility to develop subtle, dedicated and oriented sales argumentationReadiness to stretch your comfort zone, because learning is a continuous processCuriosity: you are keen to dig deeper and understand how things work. Any extra language (German, Italian, Spanish) could be an assetspend 30% (1 week out of 3) of her/his working time abroad, to share the BEA messagebe comfortable with figures, statistics and presentations.
