If you’re confident explaining complex tech, skilled at influencing without authority and keen to work across sales, technical and service teams, this is a high-impact role with real results.What You Will DoResponsibilities include, however not limited to Achieve sales targets and activity levels for your territory and for SenseHub dairy monitoring and automation productsDevelop and update territory plans to meet targets, reviewing activity against resultsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, e.g. farmers, business managers, farm managers and veterinariansUse Technical Advisors to support technical messaging and drive salesLeverage business relationships to deliver resultsIdentify and take part in promotions to maximise salesProvide technical and sales training to distributors and partners to ensure correct messaging to end usersHandle product complaint investigations, pricing queries, compliance issues and follow-up requests within required timeframesDeliver corporate sales presentations to consumer groups, customers and distributorsAnalyse customer data for territory, customer and pre-call planning; target high-value customersRecord customer interactions in the CRM to inform next-call objectives and marketing strategyMaintain thorough product knowledge and a broad understanding of animal health issuesActively develop selling skills, including company programmes and key account management principlesCommunicate effectively across sales, technical and after-sales teams; share knowledge and contribute to meetings and marketing forumsMonitor competitor activity and develop local action plans; keep the Regional Sales Lead informed via regular reportingWhat You Must HaveSales experience in rural markets; dairy sector experience is an advantageStrong communication skills, able to explain technical ideas to diverse audiences from farm staff to corporate clientsExcellent customer service and a demonstrable commitment to meeting customer needsAbility to influence stakeholders without direct line management, including internal staff and external partnersExcellent time management to handle customers across a geographically dispersed regionTechnical aptitude understanding of electronics and mechanical concepts, high computer literacy and ability to learn complex software used in animal management systems.A working knowledge of dairy sheds and animal behaviour will be advantageous as will a familiarity with broadband solutions and on farm networking.What You Can ExpectWork autonomously whilst being supported, encouraged and being part of a trusted global leading Animal Health organisationExposure to upskill and develop in your roleFlexibility and opening doors to other opportunities and skillsetsJoining a collaborative team of likeminded individualsWe are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
