We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to organize, oversee, and expand our customer base and achieve sales quotas for Palembang.Effective area sales managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning are also essential for the role.The goal is to ensure our sales target will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency.Job DescriptionsMeeting & exceeding sales targets as assignedIdentifying and acquiring new distributors, as well as up-selling to the existing customer baseTrack & report activities of competitorsDevelop strong market intelligence and monitor competitor activities on trade channel-related matters and proactively provide feedback to managementManaging the entire sales cycle from prospection through to successful closureBuilding strong relationships with key accountsBuild a strong pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasting and account planningCoordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products & servicesPrepare regular reports and participate in regular meetings to review performanceAnalyzing market trends and competitors’ activities and formulating strategies to respond to theseJob RequiremenMinimum 3 - 4 years experience as Area Sales Manager (General Trade)/ Branch Manager in FMCG business (preferable from Personal Care/Skin care/Beauty industryFluent in English, both written and spokenHaving strong database in General Trade, especially in PalembangWilling to be placed in PalembangAble to develop channel sales strategyExcellent communication and presentation skillResult oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivatedAble to work under pressure and achieve Monthly Sales TargetWilling to travel throughout Indonesia if needed
