Area Sales Representative

Location: Candidate must be located in one of the following states:Chihuahua (Juarez or Chihuahua City), Sonora (Hermosillo or Nogales), or Baja (Tijuana or Ensenada)About the RoleHeyco, a PennEngineering Company, is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive growth and expand our presence in the Mexican market. This position focuses on building relationships, developing new customers, and supporting distributors within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically inclined, and eager to grow sales of Heyco’s product lines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead sales growth efforts for Heyco products across Mexico.Identify and develop new customers, markets, and product opportunities.Maintain and strengthen relationships with distributors, OEMs, and contract manufacturers.Provide training and support to distributors and end customers.Partner with U.S. Sales and Engineering teams on new business and product initiatives.Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events (40–50% travel).Prepare and submit activity reports, forecasts, and territory analyses.Ensure adherence to company quality and safety procedures.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.2+ years of sales experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial products.Strong communication and organizational skills.Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).Ability to calculate margins, discounts, and analyze sales data.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.Additional DetailsTravel estimated at 40–50% of work time annually.Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor.Position requires local and air travel throughout Mexico and occasional U.S. travel.This is a contract position.About HeycoHeyco is a proud member of the PennEngineering family, a global leader in engineered fastening solutions.
