In this role, you’ll own our price optimization process, challenge current setups, and identify opportunities for continuous commercial improvement. ” says Lone Strøm, Head of Commercial Excellence. How You Will Make An ImpactAs Commercial Excellence Manager, Price Management & Market Analysis, you will report directly to the Head of Commercial Excellence.
Your main responsibilities will includeEnd-to-end ownership of commercial pricing reporting and processes. Analyzing market reports and data to support front-line sales and pricing initiatives. Conducting research on market and industry trends to inform decision-making. Leading and facilitating cross-functional and cross-regional discussions on pricing initiatives. Driving the implementation of pricing strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders. Sharing actionable market insights and analyses with commercial and executive management. Providing ad hoc support for selected customer meetings. Leading projects and initiatives within the Commercial Excellence domain.
Training and upskilling colleagues in pricing tools and processes, ensuring knowledge is shared and capabilities are built across the organization. In thie role you can expect to build an extensive contact base and travel approximately 20–30 days per year. What Will Make You SuccessfulWe look for candidates who bring strong analytical skills and solid business acumen, and who thrive as a central link between stakeholders across functions, companies, and borders. You have strong Excel skills and are comfortable working with advanced functions, data analysis, and large datasets.
Further, you are an effective communicator who keeps people engaged and informed, and your multitasking skills help you orchestrate multiple processes in parallel. You’re also passionate about building knowledge in others and enjoy training colleagues to raise the commercial bar. You proactively build and maintain a strong network both internally and externally to gather relevant market and business insights. You also haveA Master’s degree in business intelligence, finance, economics, or a related field. A few years of experience in market analysis, pricing development, pricing models/tools, project management, or similar.
The ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable, high-quality recommendations for diverse audiences. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English.
