Job Title: Account Manager / Business Development Executive (IT)Location: North of the UK based with regular travelSalary: From £50,000 + car allowance + OTEContract type: PermanentAbout The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Cloud, Cyber and IT Business Unit. As an Account Manager at ARO, you will play a key role in driving the success and growth of ARO by managing and nurturing regional key client relationships and developing new name business. This position is vital to ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
The role requires a proactive, client-focused approach, with a focus on building long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional service. You will focus on ARO's core services, including cloud solutions, cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking, working closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions. By leveraging industry knowledge and expertise, the Account Manager/Business Development Executive will position ARO as a trusted advisor and partner, helping clients achieve their business objectives. In addition to client management, this role involves strategic planning and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
The Account Manager/Business Development Executive will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales process, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and project implementation. They will also monitor account performance, provide regular updates to senior management, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement whilst proactively building new business pipelinesPlease note that this is a home based role with weekly national travel to customer meetings. You will also be required to collaborate with teams in other ARO offices.
