You thrive in creating high-quality visual design, and you lead, mentor, and manage other artists. You seek to find functional and highly polished workflows and pipelines to ensure a smooth art production cycle with a focus on cross-discipline collaborationResponsibilitiesOwning the art in our top priority game and leading the artists in the same projectCreating a strong visual identity for a game project by creating high-quality concept art, prototypes, and final game art assets throughout various stages of game development. Actively looking for ways to design and create new high-quality visuals for games and you want to raise the bar of outstanding Game ArtManaging your workload effectively and independently Proactively improving the workflows and setting a high standard of artistic game developmentCreating and maintaining Art Bibles and Art Documentation.Working closely with the Art Director in both creating strong visual styles as well as fostering the company culture within the Art Discipline teamOverseeing the work of up to 5 artists and mentoring other artists Skills And ExperienceExperience working with Adobe Suite / Illustrative softwareExperience working with with Unity or other similar game engineStrong concepting skillsExcellent 3D asset creation skillsExcellent 3D asset pipeline experienceStrong 2D skills both in asset creation and UI implementationHighly creative person with deep understanding of world-building, branding, and visual communicationExperience with game branding and building an identityYou can adapt easily and proactively to different software and tasksStrong, proactive communication skills, within discipline and cross-disciplineProactive self-direction with maintaining up-to-date knowledge of software and pipelineSelf-motivated and directed, with a can-do attitudeNice to haveExperience working with tools such as Figma or similar prototyping toolsJira, Confluence, and other project management tools experience is a plusThe TeamYou’ll be joining a new game team based in Helsinki.
