Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Operations Lead12 month contract, expected to extend "Hybrid" work environment, 3 - 4 days per week in the downtown Toronto officeSeeking an A.I. Lead who will be responsible for operationalizing responsible A.I. practices across the organization. This position ensures that AI solutions are ethical, explainable, compliant, and aligned with both regulatory requirements and business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain Responsible AI frameworks, policies, and controls in alignment with CDAO and enterprise AIConduct risk assessments and monitor AI models for bias, drift, and regulatory complianceOversee operational reliability, security, and ethical use of AI systems across the AI lifecycleCollaborate with business, compliance, legal, and technology teams to align AI solutions with organizational guidelines, policies and regulatory expectationsLead incident management and escalation for AI-related issuesDrive continuous improvement in Responsible AI practices, including automation, monitoring, and reporting Desired skills and experience: Deep knowledge of AI/ML technologies, regulatory standards, and ethical frameworksStakeholder management and leadership skillsProven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience with program/project management and team leadershipTechnical proficiency in AI/ML operations, monitoring, and automation tools (e.g., MLOps platforms, model monitoring solutions, risk assessment tools)Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data governance toolsAnalytical and problem-solving skills, especially in risk mitigation and compliance $120 - $140 per hour for an INC consultant, flexible related to experienceIf you're interested, please apply with resumeIf you're a strong fit, I'll be in contact quickly to discuss details and next steps
