Reporting directly to the Head of Finance ANZ, this is a key role offering ownership, hands-on responsibility, and the opportunity to shape financial outcomes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You’ll be the financial compass of our NZ business owning the preparation of management accounts, leading budgeting and forecasting, and providing insightful analysis to the operations and commercial teams to support business performance and profitability. Key Responsibilities include: Management Accounting & ReportingLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts process for New Zealand. Drive forecasting and budgeting cycles, providing clear commercial outlooks. Oversee cash flow reporting and demand forecasting.

Deliver meaningful variance analysis across production and distribution cost centres. Maintain robust financial controls and ensure accuracy in balance sheet reconciliations. Oversee customer pricing models and product costing across all ranges. Ensure product and customer master data integrity, including BOM maintenance. Business PartneringCollaborate with operational and commercial teams to enhance business performance. Provide proactive financial analysis on cost optimisation and profit improvement opportunities. Support financial/strategic modelling and business case development from concept to execution. Deliver customer-specific financial insights including pricing and volume analysis. Leadership & RelationshipsLead the New Zealand management accounting function.

Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build strong cross-functional relationships and facilitate two-way communication with key stakeholders. Governance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all internal policies and procedures. Drive and comply with the various accounting principles, tax and HR related legislation and reporting requirements that have an impact on the business. Develop and uphold financial SOPs, particularly in asset, inventory, and cash-flow management. About You: We are looking for a results-driven and collaborative finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and a pragmatic, hands-on approach.

You’ll lead with insight and curiosity and thrive in a fast-moving, evolving business. To be successful you will bring: A CA / CPA (or equivalent) qualification with 5+ years' post-qualified experience. A track record in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering—ideally in FMCG, food, or manufacturing environments. Strong MS Office with Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of Great Plains (GP) is a plus. Proven ability to deliver under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence across all levels. A people-focused leadership style—supportive, inclusive, and performance-oriented.
