The highly trained staff at EnviroVantage is looking to add to our team as we continue to grow.EnviroVantage is growing and looking for Asbestos Technician.Essential FunctionsExecute specific asbestos/demolition tasks as instructedClean and prepare project sitesWork off ladders, lifts or scaffolding and with mechanical equipment as neededOperate hand tools and power toolsAbility to understand and follow directionsFocused on SAFETY at all timesExperienceMinimum of 2 years construction experience requiredAsbestos Worker Certification requiredOSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred; If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hireExperience with construction hand tools requiredExperience working outside during all seasons and in all-weather requiredAble to pass pre-employment post-offer physicalExcellent communication skillsOrganized, hardworking and motivatedStrong team player with positive attitudeWorking Environment/Physical DemandsCoordination: Ability to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sitesAttendance: Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job functionWorking Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheresPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessaryLifting: Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularlyClimbing: Ability to climb temporary or permanent stairs and laddersRegularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlTotal RewardsAt EnviroVantage, we’re committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and work-life balance.CompensationCompensation Range: $24.00 - $26.00/hourActual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.BenefitsHealth Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following date of hire.Retirement Plans: 401(k) – 100% company match on the first 4% of employee contributions.Paid Time Off & HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per yearSick Time: 56 hours per yearPaid Holidays: 8 company-paid holidays per yearApplicants must submit an application.Equal Opportunity Employer: Committed to hiring protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.If you need accommodation as part of the employment process, please contact Human Resources at 800-640-5323 or hr@envirovantage.com.
