Marketing Assistant (Per Diem – 3 Days / 24 Hours per Week)Position Summary: Ascendant New York is a free-standing detox, rehabilitation, and outpatient facility located in Midtown Manhattan, licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team on a per-diem basis. This role supports the execution of marketing strategies through data management and content creation, while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to maintain an engaging and aligned social media presence and ensure timely, accurate CRM data entry.
This position requires both creative and technical abilities, as well as familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms. This position requires a candidate local to New York City that can work on-site. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with outreach and admissions teams to collect and input marketing data into the KIPU CRM platformEnsure accurate data entry and generate reports from CRMManage and send calendar invites for tours and events on behalf of the marketing teamAssist in developing and producing content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedInSupport the creation of marketing materials using design tools (e. g.
, Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut)Help coordinate logistics for internal and external marketing eventsPerform additional duties as assigned by the supervisorQualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of one year of experience in the behavioral health field preferredStrong attention to detail, organization, and storytelling abilitiesEffective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience in video editing, podcasting, or digital content production is a plusProficient in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Suite and ZoomSkilled in design platforms such as Canva and CapCutFamiliar with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
