Introduction The mission of Vendor Operations Services department Asia is to ensure prompt and accurate payment of liabilities to vendors and work closely with procurement and receiving to ensure positive supplier interactions.As an Asia Payment Specialist, you will play a key role in driving and enhancing cross-functional collaboration among procurement, finance, and operations teams throughout the procure-to-pay process. Your responsibilities will include managing transactions, resolving issues efficiently, and addressing customer requests to ensure seamless and effective payment operations.Job PurposeTo execute and continuously enhance payment operations across multiple entities in Asia, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict compliance with internal controls and local regulations. Beyond managing day-to-day transactions, this role is pivotal in driving improvements to the entire payment process, fostering greater stability and efficiency. The position also plays a key part in the integration and centralization of payment operations, including the seamless transition of Cymer Asia Payment Scope into the ASML Vendor Operations Asia team.Key ResponsibilitiesPayment Execution & OperationsExecute and optimize end-to-end payment operations across multiple ERP systems (SAP for ASML, Oracle for Cymer), ensuring seamless integration and best-in-class execution.Drive the timely and accurate processing of payments via multiple payment platforms and various Asia local banks, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks in multiple regional country-specific transactions.Champion the use of ServiceNow for manual or exceptional payment requests, setting standards for responsiveness and compliance.Establish and monitor KPIs for payment accuracy, speed, and compliance, ensuring continuous improvement in operational performance.Lead initiatives for automation and process enhancement and incident handlingCross-Functional Communication & Stakeholder LeadershipServe as the primary liaison between Treasury, Procurement, IT, and External Bank Partners, fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.Provide guidance for Asia Region Payment environment in effective communication, ensuring alignment across regions and functions.Resolve complex supplier or internal requester issues and disputes, leveraging advanced relationship management skills.Compliance, Controls & Risk ManagementSet and enforce rigorous standards for internal policy adherence and external regulatory compliance, including SOX and local legal requirements.Provide expert guidance and training to team members on compliance best practices for all Asia regions, proactively addressing gaps and driving a culture of accountability.Strategic Improvement & TransformationLead and sponsor projects aimed at transforming payment operations, including process redesign, digitalization, and centralization initiatives.Identify and implement innovative IT solutions to streamline workflows, enhance transparency, and support business scalability.Drive a Lean and continuous improvement mindset, championing change management and fostering a culture of operational excellence.Advanced Analysis & Executive ReportingPartner with the Regional Vendor Operations Manager on high-impact projects, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.Develop and present executive-level reports on payment performance, improvement initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.EducationThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent experience with a concentration in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Professional Finance certification encouraged.Experience7~12years of experience in an financial environment and preferably in Treasury Operations, Banking Service, Accounts Payable.Knowledge of the E2E Procure to pay process appreciatedExperience with SOX Controls & Treasury & Procurement PoliciesExperience with Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systemStrong IT literacy and adaptability to new tools and platforms (Banking Platforms, Bridging IT solutions, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; OneNote, To Do, Planner, and Miro a plus).Personal skillsActs with accountability and takes ownership for workloadLean mindset preferred, as continuous process optimalisation is encouragedBalances stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills (minimum in English with additional Asian Language Chinese, Japanese etc. appreciated)Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer (vendor) relationship building.Able to work with (periodic) deadlinesComfortable in an international environmentCollaborates as team player but also able to work independently Other Information{{b}}Location: Dongtan, South Korea {{/b}}(Company shuttle buses are available from Seoul and other key locations to support your commute.){{b}}ASML 공고간 중복지원 불가{{/b}}{{b}}영문이력서를 포함한 자유양식의 이력서 & 자기소개서를 하나의 파일로 첨부{{/b}}Inclusion and diversityASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
