Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a General Maintenance Technician located in Malabo. The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and industrial maintenance tasks. The technician will also handle various maintenance and repair activities to ensure smooth operations. Key Requirements:

EG NationalGraduate from a trade technical school or complete a recognized vocational program/proven experience working in a maintenance environment with at least 4 years of relevant work experienceEffective communication skills in EnglishExperienced with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Isolation of Hazardous Energy (IHE) proceduresAble to perform necessary preventative/corrective repairs or overhauls to the required standard on assigned system or equipment without technical assistance. Proficient in replacing worn-out or damaged parts with like-for-like replacements or servicing equipment when safe to do soProficient in using water sampling and gas testing equipment. Proficient in using carpentry tools.

Skilled in welding, brazing, or torching is preferred.
